Gunold Solar thread is a light sensitive thread. If exposed to ultra violet light, sun or artificial UV-light, the Solar thread will change color from white to one of the 7 colours available. Solar is an embroidery thread and is suitable for motifs designed for a 40 thread count thickness. Available in 1000m mini-king cones.

Note - Embroideries created with Solar thread should either be ironed from the reverse or be covered with another piece of fabric before the iron is applied.
