The DBxK5 is known as the standard needle for many of the popular, commercial embroidery machines and works well with most thread types, (however for metallic threads the DBx7ST is available).
Having a medium ball point it is the universal needle point for light and heavyweight fabrics, densely-woven knits, fleece and terrycloth. Incredibly economical if the materials to be embroidered change frequently.
